ļ»æHey, hey ladies. Welcome to episode number two. All right, welcome back. I'm so glad you decided to join me today. We're going to talk a little bit about a sculpted lifestyle today. What is Lady Sculpt Lifestyle? What is a sculpted life?
So when I think of the word sculpt or sculpture, I think of an artist spending hours or weeks, or months or years working on creating something with very purposeful movements, a lot of thought put into what they're doing. It's very conscious. It's very time full, let's say this is one of the reasons I chose the word sculpt for my podcast and for my project right now, Lady Sculpt 2.0 membership. I think a sculpted lifestyle is a very conscious lifestyle where you're making really purposeful decisions about what you want in your life and for your body. When I think of a sculpted lifestyle, I think of somebody who has spent time planning the way they want to live and what the result of that will be and then just follows the plan effortlessly. I know that effortlessly sounds so beautiful and it never is effortlessly, but I think that the more time you spend following your own plans, the better you get at it, the less effort it takes. Now, I really want to highlight that not all sculpted lifestyles look the same. I shouldn't even say that no sculpted lifestyles look the same. Everybody's sculpted lifestyle is unique to their life, to each individual person, depending on their goals and their physique and what's going on in their life. Are they a mom? Are they career focused? Are they running their own business? Are they in love with traveling? Like what else is going on for them? A sculpted lifestyle doesn't necessarily need to be someone who is getting ready for a competition or is very body focused. But in my line of business fitness and nutrition, that's kind of what we focus on.
So when I came up with the sculpted lifestyle podcast, it was because I wanted to take fitness and nutrition to the next level by incorporating this sculpted aspect of purpose and creation and awareness into fitness and nutrition. Because I think that this is the key to you guys. I think this is like the secret sauce to getting to a place where you not only love your body, but it's easy. It feels easy to maintain and it feels good, most of the time, if not all of the time, I still have days too, where I just don't feel fantastic, but there are so few and far between what they used to be. When I think of a sculpted lifestyle, I think of a conscious choice to living an 80-20 life consistently working on self-improvement and personal growth, whether this be through fitness or sports or nutrition, or self-improvement, mind management growth, education, learning new things, traveling, all of it. All of that is included in a sculpted lifestyle. So this podcast could be, you know, we might go a little out there in some directions, but I hope that you'll join me. And I hope you have as much fun with it. As I know I will.
I want you to humor me for just a second. I want you to imagine with me for a moment while I walk you through someone's sculpted lifestyle. You wake up excited for the day ahead, you take a deep breath stretch, pull on your yoga pants and get ready to start your movement practice. Maybe you hit the gym. Maybe you hit the treadmill. Maybe you get outside or make one with your yoga mat. Whatever movement feels good for you. Afterwards you rinse off your hard work and spend time even just five minutes, adding a touch of mascara, maybe some bronzer, a tinted lip gloss. Next, you put on clothes that make you want to stretch, through your day. You look in the mirror and think, damn, I look good today. You look at your calendar, your to-do list, and think I got this. Today's going to be a good day. You move through your day, purposely getting things done, eating as planned and taking moments to be present. Happy content, maybe even bless fall. When the dude in the big ass loud pickup truck cuts you off in traffic, you think he must be in a hurry and you feel gratitude that you are not him. In the evening, you're relaxed, feeling accomplished, you know, that you showed up. And now it's time to unwind, relax with your family, or enjoy a call with a friend, maybe a long hot bubble bath, and a good book. You spend a few minutes taking care of your skin, your teeth, and you sleep into something soft and sexy. You crawl into bed with a cup of tea and your journal. You write about your day, your thoughts and your game plan for tomorrow, and you fall asleep, knowing tomorrow is going to be another good day.
Okay. Have I lost you? Are you thinking who is this chick and what is this fluff? I feel you, that vision is so hard to imagine, especially if you have kids or a demanding job or a long commute or if up until now, you've been living a semi-conscious instant gratification filled life, but dream with me for a second, wouldn't it be nice to be able to sculpt your life? So that vision is, you know, it's a little bit, it's a little bit fluffy. It's a little bit out there that could be someone's sculpted life. Every sculpted life is unique. My sculpted life is very different than someone who maybe works in an office or someone who's a stay at home mom. What a sculpted life is is you literally sitting down and deciding on purpose what you want your day-to-day life to look like and making sure that day-to-day plan aligns with who you want to be a year from now, what you want your body to look like a year from now, what you want to have achieved a year from now, it's literally planning day by day to make sure that you accomplish and grow in to the person you want to become. I know it sounds a little out there, but this practice of making sure that you're spending time on who you want to be is the best way I know to get you there. When you spend time putting pencil to paper and designing your future self, you are literally making that person a possibility for you. Now, all you have to do is come up with the game plan. The day to days, what habits, what routines, what do you need to do and accomplish to grow into that version of you? We're going to do a whole episode where I take you through an exercise called You 2.0, and we design your future self in the next few episodes. But for today, because I really want you to think about what lifestyle you'd like, what would you like to do every day? What do you want to spend your time doing? Do you want to spend your time watching three hours of TV at night, or would you rather be doing something else? If you'd rather be doing something else?
I want you to sit down with a pen and paper and figure it out, write it down every half hour a lot. Something for you to do that is sculpted and then practice moving through your day, sticking to your game plan. It won't be perfect. There'll be days where you aren't sticking to your plan at all. There'll be days where you start to succeed at it and you want to keep practicing, keep playing with that game plan. Keep changing it around just a little bit until it feels like it fits. And you'll get to a point where you find the right fit and it will feel wonderful. So that's your homework for this week?
